Manuel Retana
Manuel Retana is an employee of NASA JSC and a Ph.D. student at the University of Texas at Austin. Manuel was a graduate student recipient of the Stanford Graduate Fellowship and the Dennis Washington Leadership Fellowship, he received his MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford. In the ARMLab, Manuel contributed to the Collaborative Robotic Assistant project. His research interests included robot control, dynamical systems, motion planning and decision making, and human-robot collaboration for space applications. He worked at the NASA Johnson Space Center developing cable-driven parallel robot testbeds to support moon landing astronaut training.
