Aliyah Smith

PhD Student

Aliyah Smith is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics at Stanford University and a recipient of the Mr. and Mrs. John D. Carpenter Fellowship and the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.  Aliyah's research interests include robotic control, motion planning, and estimation, and she is generally interested in the use of robotic systems for space exploration. Aliyah has previously conducted research in guidance, navigation, and control at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and in materials at Texas A&M University and the University of Oxford.
