Shivani Guptasarma

PhD Student

Shivani Guptasarma is a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering and a Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance graduate trainee. She is interested in the kinematics, dynamics, and control of robotic manipulators and human bodies, and the design of interactions between them. Her research aims to improve the control of powered prosthetic arms. She is a member of the 2019 cohort of Stanford Knight-Hennessy Scholars.
